Drive at low tide when possible. It’s much easier going.  You can manage at other times, but at high tide you find deep soft sand.  At low tide, it’s llke a regular road.     
 Hazards on the beach:  tree stumps.  If you get stuck in the sand, call A1-Towing   252-453-4002    We have never had to call, but…

Again–let air out of your tires for driving on the beach, e.g. 16 to 20 psi inflation.
